At CVW-4, we believe in the potential of every aspiring pilot. Whether you're a seasoned flight simulator enthusiast or completely new to Naval Aviation, our training program is designed to take you from the basics to advanced mission proficiency within Digital Combat Simulator (DCS).

With a combination of structured learning, practical exercises, and personalized guidance, you’ll gain the skills and confidence needed to excel in virtual Naval Aviation operations.

Our program is structured into three progressive phases, each focusing on critical aspects of operational excellence:

Phase 1: CVW-4 Entry Qualification

Fundamentals of flight operations.Essential carrier qualifications.Preparation for squadron integration.

Phase 2: Squadron Qualification

Mastery of operational basics such as:Deck and airfield procedures.Advanced navigation and timing.Tactical and administrative avionics.Tactical basics, including formations and threat evasion.

Phase 3: Mission Qualification

Specialized training tailored to operational roles:

Strike Missions: Deliver precision strikes, including GPS-guided, laser-guided, and anti-radiation weapons.Fighter Missions: Advanced air-to-air combat techniques, including missile delivery, radar operations, and dogfighting tactics.

Each phase builds upon the last, ensuring participants are equipped to contribute effectively to high-stakes operations.
